Industrial Abrasive Blasting in Gauteng & Nationwide
Mobile shot and grit blasting for plant machinery, mining equipment, storage tanks and structural steel – done on your site, to your coating spec.
Industrial abrasive blasting that comes to your plant
Corrosion, mill scale and failed coatings shorten the life of plant, tanks and structural steel. We remove them at the source – on your site – so coatings bond properly and equipment stays in service. Our mobile rigs cover Gauteng and every other province, and our Kempton Park workshop handles smaller components.
What we blast
- Plant machinery, conveyors, hoppers and chutes
- Mining equipment and fabricated steel
- Storage tanks, vessels and pipework
- Structural steel, frames and platforms
- Tipper trailers, truck bodies and skip bins
- Shipping containers and site offices
Shot blasting and grit blasting
We use both techniques. Grit blasting uses angular abrasive to strip rust and old paint and leave the rough “anchor profile” that paint and protective coatings grip. Shot blasting uses round media to clean and condition steel. We’ll recommend the right medium for your steel and coating system – see our media guide.

Frequently asked questions
Can you blast on our site anywhere in South Africa?
Yes. Our self-contained mobile rigs travel nationwide. Tell us your province and town and we’ll confirm availability and travel.
What size of item can you handle?
Anything from small components to large tanks and structures. A forklift is on site for bigger loads, and our workshop in Kempton Park takes smaller items.
Which blasting method is best for steel?
It depends on the steel, the existing coating and the new coating system. Grit blasting is typical for rust and paint removal with a profile; shot blasting suits cleaning and conditioning. We’ll advise once we’ve seen photos.
Do you also apply coatings after blasting?
Ask us about coating after blasting – we can discuss primer and protective coatings so the clean surface isn’t left exposed.
Is your abrasive media eco-friendly?
We use eco-friendly media blasting techniques that are safe for the environment while still delivering exceptional results.
Ready to see your surface restored?
Send us a photo and your location. We’ll come back with a clear quote – on-site or in our workshop.
